How to Give Access to Google Ads
This guide helps you grant a marketing agency access so they can audit or manage your Google Ads campaigns, performance reports, and settings.
Step 1: Log in to Google Ads
Locate and send your Google Ad Client ID located in the top right to us via email.
Step 2: Grant access
We will send you a request to access the accoun. There are two ways to grant access:
- By email – you will receive an email like the one below notifying you of the request with a link to accept
- Through Google Ads – Login go to Admin, Access and Security and accept the Link request
Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Step 1: Visit https://tagmanager.google.com
and log in to the Google Account that manages the container you want to share
Step 2: User Management
Click on the three dots on the container you want to share and select User Management
Step 3: Add Users
Click on the plus button and select Add Users
Step 4: Add a User

How to Give Access to Your Google Merchant Center Account
Use this guide to invite a marketing agency or individual to your Merchant Center so they can manage product feeds, diagnostics, and linked services like Google Ads.
Step 1: Log in to Google Merchant Center
- Go to https://merchants.google.com/
- Sign in using the Google account that owns your Merchant Center account.
Step 2: Open the Account Settings
- In the top right corner, click the “tools and settings” (⚙️) icon.
- Under the “Settings” section, click “Account access.”
Step 3: Add a New User
- Click the blue plus (+) button in the top-right corner.
- Enter the email address provided by your marketing agency (must be a Google account).
Step 4: Choose the Access Level
Choose one of the following roles:
- Admin – Full access, including user management (only assign if you trust the agency to manage everything).
- Standard – Can manage product feeds, campaigns, and settings, but cannot add/remove users.
- Email Contacts Only – Only receives notifications; cannot log in to the account.
For most agencies, Standard access is ideal.
Step 5: Send the Invite
- Click “Add user.”
- The agency will receive an email invitation and must accept it to gain access.
Need to Link Google Ads to Merchant Center?
If your agency is running Google Shopping campaigns, you’ll also need to link your Google Ads account under:
Tools & Settings → Linked Accounts → Google Ads → Link Account
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Step 1:Visithttps://analytics.google.com
Log in to the Google Account that manages the container you want to share
Step 2: Select Property
Type or select the Property you want to share and then click on the property in the list.
Step 3: Admin Settings
and click the gear icon (⚙️) at the bottom left to open the Admin panel Then select ‘Property Access Management’ in the middle column.
Step 4: Add Users
Click on the plus button and select Add Users
Add digitalmarketing@clickclickmedia.com.au, select Administrator and click Add.
Google Business Profile (GBP)
There are two ways to share access to your Google Business Profile, depending on whether the person you invite has a personal Google account or a Business Organisation Account.
Personal Business Account
Step 1: Sign in
Go to https://business.google.com/ and ensure you’re signed in with the Google account that manages your business listing.
If you manage multiple locations, choose the location to share access.
Step 3:
Click on the three dots and select ‘Business Profile Settings’.
Step 4: Select People and access.
Step 5: Select Add
Step 6: Add the CCM Organisation
number provided, select Manager level, and then click Invite.
The person will receive an email to accept the invitation.
Google Search Console (GSC)
Step 1: Login
Visit https://search.google.com/search-console/ and log in using the Google account that owns or has access to the property
Step 2: Select the Property
From the top-left dropdown, select the website property you want to share access to. If you don’t see the site listed, log into the correct account or add the property first.
Step 3:Users & Permimssions
In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click ‘Settings.’Under Settings, click ‘Users and permissions.’
Step 4: Add User
Click the blue “Add User” button in the settings section
Add digitalmarketing@clickclickmedia.com.au for the email address.
The user will now have immediate access – no invitation or acceptance is required.
